Amigurumi Dolls to Crochet

Amigurumi crochet is such fun because there is so much variety. Amigurumi can be almost anything. A character, doll, or inanimate object that is stuffed. I've come across amigurumi patterns for everything from animals to dolls, trains, airplanes, houses, clocks and even food! I recently went searching the internet for doll patterns and I came across these cutie pies, (all with free patterns), that I thought I would share!

First on the list is the "Boo" doll.

I think she's awesome and I love her big blue eyes and her long hair. This one is going on my "to crochet" list for sure. You can find the free pattern for the "Boo" doll here.

Sleepy Sarah
Then there's "Sleepy Sarah". I've been eyeing this pattern for quite some time because she is just soo sweet! I plan on crocheting her in many different colors like the picture below. Cute! You can find the free pattern for Sleepy Sarah here.

Kokeshi Dolls
I've always loved Kokeshi Dolls. They are Japanese dolls, originally from northern Japan and are handmade out of wood. The characteristics of Kokeshi dolls are an enlarged head with a few thin painted lines for facial features, and bodies that are a simple trunk. But their main characteristic is their lack of arms or legs. Click here for the free Kokeshi doll pattern.

Zoe Lily-Belle
Meet Zoe Lily-Belle, the little red headed amigurumi doll. She's very simple...and sweet.

Bryan & Shelly Dolls
The Lion Brand Yarn Website has a lot of cute downloadable amigurumi patterns for free.
I found these "Bryan & Shelly" dolls there.

Shelly Doll
Here's another picture of someone's version of Shelly the girl doll.

Ogilvy Dolls

These little guys are super cute. I think they would make adorable key chains, or cell phone "charms", or even hang one on your purse! And like "Sleepy Sarah", I think they'd be adorable in all kinds of color combinations! Here's the link to the pattern.

Hula Hula Lula Doll
I think Lula the Hula girl is adorable, although I think I'd do her face different. Click here for Hula Hula Lula!

Sprite Dolls
And last but not least, these cutie pie Sprite dolls. I love the little Angel (or is she a Fairy?) with her little wings and sweet expression. The little Sprite doll pattern can be found here.

That's all for now. I hope you found one of these patterns that you like.
As for me, I'm off to work on my amigurumi doll. Thanks for visiting!
